Namco America has been operating in its new Elk Grove Village location since July 29, 2008. The move was the culmination of a reorganization project that began three years ago, when the Namco America corporate office moved from California to the Chicago area.
This new facility exclusively houses the business of Namco America. Bringing the company under one roof makes it possible for all Namco America departments to work cross-functionally in a team focused atmosphere. The parts and service, manufacturing engineering, accounting, sales, administrative and product strategy departments can now work together as a unit.
Namco continues to invest in the future of the coin-op business. This new facility and the added focus on development for the American market are the cornerstones of that future. “There are many opportunities for growth in this market” stated Namco America COO John McKenzie, “we are committed to be at the forefront of that growth”.
